What this is: a free UEB Grade 2 (contracted) braille translator
powered by LibLouis — the open-source braille engine that also
drives the NVDA and JAWS screen readers. It translates print text into Unified
English Braille, the current U.S. standard.
It is a tool, not a certified transcription. For legal, permanent,
or ADA-compliance signage, have output verified by a certified braille transcriber
before production.
On = drop capital indicators (standard for ADA signage). Off = keep capital
signs.
