3toed Software LLC makes web-based tools for the sign industry. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
The short version
There are no accounts and no logins. Your project files stay on your own computer. We count page visits so we know which tools people actually use. We never sell your information to anyone, and we do not run advertising.
1. Your project files
Your work does not come to us. When you save a project, it is written to your own computer. We cannot see it, we do not keep a copy, and we cannot recover it if you lose it.
One exception, and you control it. Mapping Slayer has a publish button that sends a project to our servers so it can be shared with installers in the field. That only happens when you press it. If you never press it, none of your project data reaches us. Published projects can be removed from within the app.
2. Visit counting
Every page on this site records that a visit happened. This is how we know which tools are worth continuing to build. What gets recorded:
- A random ID stored in your browser, so repeat visits from the same browser can be counted as one person rather than many. It is not tied to your name or email, and we cannot use it to identify you.
- Which page you opened, and when
- The address of the page that sent you here, if any
- Campaign tags in the web address, if you arrived from a link we shared
- Whether the browser appears to be automated
- A signal every 60 seconds while the page is open and visible, so we can tell roughly how long tools are used for
As with any website, our servers also see your IP address when your browser makes a request. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
To opt out: clear your browser's site data for this site, or block scripts for this domain in your browser or an extension. The tools keep working either way.
3. When you contact us
The contact form in our apps asks for your name, email, and message, and sends them to us by email so we can reply. If you tick the box to receive a copy of your own message, a spam check from Cloudflare runs first. We keep what you send us so we can follow up, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
4. Payment
The tools are free through the end of 2026 and we currently collect no payment information of any kind. Paid access is planned for 2027. This page will be updated to explain how payment data is handled before any charge is ever made.
5. Other companies involved
Running the site means a few other companies necessarily see traffic to it:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and our data storage, and provides the spam check on the contact form
- Google Fonts — serves the typeface used across the site
- jsDelivr and cdnjs — serve open-source code libraries the tools depend on, such as the PDF engine
Our apps also link out to Buy Me a Coffee for optional tips. Following that link takes you to their site, under their privacy policy, not ours.
6. What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal information
- Run advertising or advertising trackers
- Look at your project files
- Email you marketing you did not ask for
7. Your choices
Because there are no accounts, most of your data is simply not in our hands to begin with. For what is, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to correct it, by emailing contact@3toedsoftware.com. If you are asking about a published project or a message you sent us, please write from the same email address you used, so we can tell it is you.
8. Children
These are professional tools for the sign industry. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we ever start collecting something meaningfully new, we will say so here before we do it.
